The various work of Per Kirkeby includes paintings, photographies and sculptures, but wall painting and graphic art too, as well as books, films and short stories. The main focus of an exhibition in the museum Küppersmühle is on the scientific interest and the observations of nature, which are the basis of many artworks by Kirkeby. Another main issue are the paintings and their development from the 1970s to today and the graphic art of that time.
