Thirty years ago, the Bauhaus sites in Weimar and Dessau were inscribed on the World Heritage List as “key works of the radical renewal of architecture and design”. These include, in Weimar, the buildings of the former Academy of Fine Arts and the School of Applied Arts, as well as the Haus Am Horn; in Dessau, the Bauhaus school building and the seven Masters’ Houses; and, since 2017, the ADGB Trade Union School in Bernau and the arcaded houses in Dessau.
To mark the 30th anniversary, the exhibition features selected historical postcards and photographs, as well as a projection showing recent images of the buildings.
