pandora – The software of prometheus, the digital image archive
pandora is developed on the basis of Ruby on Rails. Elasticsearch is integrated as a search engine.
pandora is available on GitHub with regularly published new versions.
Application Programming Interface (API) to pandora
While most of our users will use the website to work with the image archive, there is also the option of speaking directly to pandora, prometheus’ software. For example, if you have an idea for an interesting new application – be it a game, an app, a meta search engine, etc. – which is based on the image archive to a certain extent, then a special kind of communication with the system is necessary to access the required information: The image archive API comes into play!
