On the occasion of the 75th birthday of Frieder Burda the museum is presenting an exhibition concerning the history of the collection. The main focus of the act of collecting was on American Abstract Expressionism, Pablo Picasso’s late work and German paintings with work groups by Gerhard Richter, Sigmar Polke, Georg Baselitz and Arnulf Rainer. Selecting the exhibits for the current show in person, Frieder Burda presents a very individual view on his collection.
