The pseudonym Banksy hides one of the most popular British street artists. So carefully as Banksy wants to remain anonymous, so vehemently others want to discover his identity.
Starting from the assumption that Robin Gunningham from Bristol is hidden behind the pseudonym, now the method of geo-profiling, a technique of forensic science, is used by researchers of London’s Queen Mary University. They recorded the locations of 140 Banksy works in London and Bristol and identified possible locations in the area, at which Gunningham may have liked to stay. They published the controversial results of their study in the “Journal of Spatial Science”.
