His sculptures combine accurate observations with the order in abstract forms. The German artist Waldemar Grzimek, one of the most important sculptors of the 20th century, focused mainly the representation of the complexity of human figures. Not symbolic, but directly traceable.
The exhibition presents some objects of Waldemar Grzimek from the collection of Gerhard Marcks Foundation. They show the artistic diversity of figurative sculptor: not only figures in standstill, but also figures in motion.
