The themes of the slides and photographic prints of the finds from the collections of the media library of the Institute of Art and Visual History at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin range from the cathedrals of Rouen (#4) and colourful frames (#8), to Raphael in Prussia (#15) and living matter (#16), to the handwriting of the young explorer (#23) and Breite Straße in early spring (#42).
50 artefacts are presented in the publication “Fundstücke aus dem Bildarchiv des Instituts für Kunst- und Bildgeschichte” by Georg Schelbert. The contributions are stories from the Institute’s teaching and research activities with interesting historical aspects of media and photography, which can be discovered online in the media library blog.
